Crusito Crus, 96, of Hilo, passed away, September 30, 2011, at Life Care Center in Hilo. Born in Pepeekeo, He was a Veteran of the U.S Army, and retired as a carpenter's helper and laborer. Memorial services scheduled at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home Friday, October 28, 2011. Memorial service at 11:00am, inurnment to follow at Hawaii State Veterans 2. He is survived by his son Arcillio (Marjorie) Torres of Ocean View; daughters Susie (Julio) Franco of New Mexico, Ketheryn Mercado of Maui, Elsie (John) Sanchez of Hilo; and 27 grandchildren.
