

David Edward Olszewski passed away at the golden age of 85 on December 10, 2024, in his home in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. He was born on March 16, 1939 in Duluth, Minnesota, to Edward Olszewski and Marie Beatrice.
David grew up in Port Orchard, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington where he studied Electrical Engineering. He lived in the Seattle area most of his life where he enjoyed a successful career and a growing family. He and his first wife, Diane Wylie, married in 1962 and had four sons together. He later remarried to Pam Baker and his family grew with her two sons and two daughters. Dave and Pam moved to the Big Island in 2005 where they had vacationed annually for the previous two decades. Hawaii was always his special place.
David is survived by his sons Todd Olszewski of Ocean Shores, Washington, Brett Olszewski of Portland, Oregon, Glenn Olszewski of Snohomish, Washington; his step-sons Mickel Baker of Thousand Oaks, California, Gavin Baker of Vancouver, Washington; his step-daughters Lauren Baker of Anacortes, Washington, Stephanie Smith of Richland, Washington; his brother Michael Olszewski of Port Orchard, Washington; his 9 grandchildren; his 5 great grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
