David Tavita Hudson Sr.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016, at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kahului; service will begin at 10:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:00 p.m., at Valley Isle Memorial Park Cemetery in Haiku. Norman’s Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

David was a retired Electrical Contractor & owner of Hudson’s Electric. He previously worked at Otis Elevator Company, installing elevators & escalators throughout various businesses and hotels in Waikiki, Wailea & Lahaina. He also worked with Securitas.

He was predeceased by his wife, Frances L. Hudson and sons, David T. Hudson, Jr., Michael S. Hudson and Shannon J. Hudson. He is survived by his daughters, Ivy (Tommy) Makaena, Shane (Orio) Soriano; daughter-in-law, Lilia Hudson; sisters, Eseta (Sala) Faletoi, Tulua Ulu; brothers, Manuia (Vickie) Milo, Sione (Kareen) Milo, Tavita Milo, Semanu Milo; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
