David "Kawika" Valencia, 59, of Pukalani, passed away on February 2, 2011, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born February 2, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Valencia was a Eligibility Worker with the State of Hawaii, Medquest Department. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Valencia; daughters, Dominique and Desiree Valencia; father, David Valencia; half-brothers, Raul Valencia; Victor Amaral, Valentino Amaral, Carlos Amaral, Marcos Amaral, Renee Amaral; and half-sister, Star Moreno.
Services: Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, mass 11 a.m., urn burial to follow at Valley Isle Memorial Park.
