Douglas Baldwin Cameron, died at his home in Kahului, Maui on February 5, 2026. Born in Cambridge Massachusetts on March 31, 1953, to Colin and Margaret Cameron, he attended Maui High School and Hebron Academy.
He worked at The Maui News in circulation and in the press room and later became a rancher. Early interests included organic farming, sailing, hiking and flying lessons. He valued his service to Jehovah, his friends and family, being in the outdoors, and his many cats. Doug has been a faithful Jehovah Witness member for over 30 years.
Unmarried, he leaves behind his brother Richard, sisters Margaret and Frances (Effie), his nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2pm, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 466 Laau St., Kahului, Maui, Hawaii.
