He was born November 16, 1926 in Mason, Iowa to Roland Raphael and Agnes Bridget (Clancy) Craig.
Joe married Joanne Rosalee Bowers on June 14, 1947 in California.
He was a veteran of WWII receiving the Victory Medal, and he enjoyed playing golf at his home in Maui.
Survivors include his sons, Dennis, Tim, Jeff and Kevin; daughters, Michelle, Kathy, Cheryl and Cindy; 16 grandchildren; 26 great- grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Joe in death are his wife, Joanne Craig; son, Matthew Craig; grandson, Joseph Cameron; and great grandson Lucas Darnell.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Sacred Hearts Church in Lahaina, a funeral mass will begin at 11 a.m., and burial will follow at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao at 1 p.m.
