
Edwin "Eddie Boy" Tokusei Ige III, 34, of Kahului, passed away on October 14, 2011 at Maui Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Wailuku on September 11, 1977 to Edwin Jr. and Joanna "Ui" Ige. Eddie Boy attended Wailuku Hongwanji Pre-School, St. Anthony Grade School, Sacajawea Elementary School (Washington), Lokelani Intermediate School and Graduated from H.P. Baldwin High School in 1995. Eddie Boy was a certified crane operator for Pacific Pile & Crane, Inc., and later owned and operated his own trucking company, Diesel Trucking 808. He is survived by his sons, Diesel and Gauge Ige; girlfriend, Jen Phillips, parents, Edwin Jr. and Joanna "Ui" Ige; brother, Ikaika (Haunani) Roback; sisters, Billie-Jo Ige, Tracee Ige-Reis (Nolan), Bridgette Ige; grandmother, Elsie Ige; grandfather, John Kawaiaea; godmother, Louisa Pu; along with many aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Christ the King Church. Public viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., mass at 1 p.m., followed by burial at 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
