Francis John Ballesteros

Francis’ life was a testament to love and laughter. He spent many of his years working for the Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi as a manager for several departments, while also guiding his fellow peers by being a mentor in their lives, leaving a long lasting impact on those who he has touched with his life.

Jay was a dedicated man with many talents and passions, creating memories with his loved ones and enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife, Violeta Espiritu Ballesteros, their three children: Jay Ryan Ballesteros, Jake Ballesteros , and Jayvie Ballesteros, Parents: Estrella Taguba (Eduardo+) and Fernando Ballesteros Sr. (Teresita+), Siblings: Fernando Ballesteros Jr.+, Leonora Etrata (Elpidio), Alberto Raping (Janice), Ferdinand Ballesteros (Florie Mae), Florence Ramnarine (Robbie), and Edward Taguba.

An overnight vigil will be held from 6:30pm on Friday, May 15, 2026 at the ILWU Hall on Lānaʻi. Mass will begin at 10am on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Catholic Church, Lānaʻi.
