Frank A. “Woody” Flores, 68, of Pahoa, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Hilo and retired as a Lineman for Mauna Kea Electric. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Hilo Missionary Church on Komohana Street. Services at 12 noon. Family and friends may call Karen Desilva for more information. He is survived by his wife Joan Gail Flores of Pahoa; sons Alexander (Nani) Bras of Mountain View, Frank (Alvany) Bras of Ka’u, John-Jon (Puanani) Freitas of Pahoa; step-son Dexter (Naomi) Freitas of O’ahu; step-daughters Ronalyn Freitas of California, Karen (Clayton) Desilva of Kea’au, Ro-Ann (Steven) Martin of Kea’au, Alare Hopkins of Volcano, Deborah (Kenneth) Flores of Pahoa; brothers Harry (Rhonda) Pagan of Hilo, Benjamin (Laina) Torres of Hilo; sisters Doris Russell of Pahoa, Lorraine (Kaholo) Powell of Pahoa, Diana (Michael G) Freeman of Pahoa; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.
