Gwendolyn Haunani Kauhaa Po, 81 of Kahului, Maui, passed away on April 1, 2025. She was born on October 16, 1943 in Wailuku.
A memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Ballard Family Mortuary; visitation will begin at 9am; services start at 11am.
Gwendolyn was a retired bartender at Royal Lahaina Resort. She had a passion for golf. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and making many different styles of lei’s. Her specialty was creating beautiful Leipo’o for numerous family and friends on special occasions.
She was predeceased by her husband Bray Kauhaa Po; and parents, John and Johanna Kuia. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Tobi) Kaanana, Holly (Keith) Larsen; a sister, Gaylien (Timothy) Luft; 2 Grandchildren, Joshua (Ara) Giron, Elainie (Marc) Giron; 2 Great Grandchildren, Jarek Giron, Javen Giron; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
