Harriet “Nina” Chung, 72, of Pahoa, died on Monday January 6, at home. She was born on Oahu. She was a retired Department of Education employee. Private celebration of life will be held for Family and close Friends on Saturday, March 15, at 11:00am.Survived by spouse, Jimmy Walker of Pahoa; sons Jon-Joseph “Popo” (Crisha) Chung of Keaau, Cecil “CJ” (Dione) Walker of Keaau; daughter Casey Walker of Pahoa; brothers Herbert (Colleen) Chung of Washington, Henry (Gina) Chung Sr. of Volcano; sisters Helene “Deb” Chung of Pahoa, Hermandine “Dine” Chung of Pahoa, Heather “Freda” Kealoha of Pahoa, Holita (Eric) Shimabukuro of Keaau, Holly (Robert Bechert) Chung of Hilo; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
