James "Jimmy" Joseph Fitzsimmons, Jr., 69, of Lahaina, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. "Jimmy" was born on April 17, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York. He worked as a Store Manager his last 10 years of employment prior to retiring to his dream location of Maui. While singing and playing guitar were his lifelong passions, he was always the best at being a loving and supportive father to his three children. He is survived by two sons, James Fitzsimmons III and Bryan Fitzsimmons; a daughter, Ilissa Louth; a son-in-law, Dan Louth; two sisters, Linda Whitten and Patricia Adams; four grandchildren, Sam Louth, Julia Louth, Aubrey Fitzsimmons and Whitney Bartlett; and former wife, Lydie Fitzsimmons. He is preceded in death by his father, James Fitzsimmons; mother, Anne Gaffuri; and his daughter-in-law, Tiffany Fitzsimmons.
Services: Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life 5 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Lahaina United Methodist Church, 988 Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761.
Interment: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alano Club of Lahaina, 562 C Front Street, Lahaina, HI 96761 in remembrance of "Jimmy".
