James Richard Thomason, 96, of Washington, D.C., passed away on August 15, 2010, comfortably at his home, under Hospice care. He was born on August 27, 1913, in Sullivan, Illinois. He is survived by his Daughter, Carol Thomason, of Wailuku, Hawaii; and Grandson, Nicholas Folly, of New York, New York. He was the Deputy Assistant Post Master General & controller, with the United States Post Office.
Services: A memorial service for James will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Keawalai Congregational Church, 190 Makena Road, Makena, HI., at 8:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations under James' name may be made to, Calvary Baptist Church, Camp Fraser Fund, 755 8th Street NW, Washington D.C. 20001, or Audubon Center at Garden Creek, 101 Garden Creek Road, Casper, Wyoming 82604.
