John Larry Bailey, 80 of Wailuku, Maui, passed away on June 21, 2025 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on November 25, 1944 in Lahaina.
Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Ballard Family Mortuary; services will start at 7:30pm; cremation will follow.
John worked as a Harvester Supervisor at Pioneer Mill. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Evaline Bailey; and parents, John Keanini Bailey & Valentine Violet Bailey. Siblings- Panabus Paul Bailey (Rita), Rudolph Maalo Bailey, Joseph Gilbert Bailey (Camela), Morris Lester Bailey (Joyce), Julian Bailey, Dennis Bailey (Evaline), Winona Goliday (Frank), Genevieve Kahanu Camden, Maxine Ng (Joe), Susan Momi Bailey, and Geraldine Hatcha Barrozo.He is survived by his children, Dominic (Lei) Kaina, Renee (Mark) Kaina, Jezelyn (Kimo), Selena Bailey, Sebryna Bailey, Samson Bailey, Solomon Bailey, Siah Bailey, Saige Bailey; siblings, survived by: Frederick Bailey, Gabriel Bailey; 13 grandchildren, Ainsley, Keanu, Kapualana, Makana, Kahiau, Jion, Jire; and 3 great grandchildren, Taylyn, Kawainui and No’eau.
