Born on March 5, 1931 in Alabama, he served in the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force, retired as a General Contractor, building custom homes for Mr. Lee, and was a resident of Hawai’i for over 40 years.
Services will be held on Friday June 22, 2018 at Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo, 570 Kinoole St. Hilo, HI 96720. Visitation at 10:00am, Service at 10:30am. Burial to follow 12:00 noon at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery #2.
Survived by his sons, Gregory Grady of California, Fredrick Malcolm (Carolyn) Grady of California, Jeffery (Sadie) Grady of Mississippi, Leroy (Dr. Cassandra) Grady of California; daughters, Lynne (Greg) Horton of California, Donna Mayes of California; hanai family, Corrina Tiapula and Samuel Gomes Jr. of Keaau, and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
