

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel K. Vierra Sr., who was born on July 12, 1956, to Herbert Sr. and Nora Vierra.
Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Albertnette “Alby” Vierra; his son Manuel (Kalei); and his cherished grandchildren Kepa, Aleka, and Anuhea Andrade. He is reunited in heaven with his son Christopher (Keola). He is also survived by the family’s beloved pet, Zoya.
The eldest of six children, Manuel is surviv ed by his brothers Herbert Jr. (Alberta) Vierra, Vernon Vierra, Chris (Robin) Vierra, Joseph (Joe) Vierra, and Walter (Kahala) Vierra, along with many nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Maui High School in 1974, Manuel began a long and dedicated career with Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company, where he worked for 43 years before retiring as a heavy equipment operator.
Family was always Manuel’s top priority. He loved going to the beach, watching movies, barbecuing, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying boxing and football. He was happiest sharing a Bud Light and ono grindz, with poke and tako being among his favorites, surrounded by his brothers, family, and friends.
Manuel, thank you for the good times and the countless memories. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Saint Anthony Church.
Family visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by public visitation at 9:30 a.m.
The eulogy will be at 10:30 a.m., with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.
A luncheon will be held afterward at Hale Na Nea.
