

Myra Kanoelehua Paiva, 79 of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on April 18 at Kula Hospital. She was born in Honolulu on December 30, 1944. She was retired custodian for the State Department of Transportation, Airports Division. In the past, she was employed at Woolworth's, Wiki Wiki Wheels Rent-A-Car and Keoho's Gift Shop & Woodworks. She is survived by brothers Harold "K" Paiva (Janette) and Edward Scott Kaipo Flores (Arlana); sisters, Juliette Bryan, Theone Kanuha, Tiana Noelani Enfield (Lance) and Keoki Flores; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by parents Josephine Flores, Manuel Paiva, George Flores Sr., Brothers, Paul, Leroy and Jacob Paiva and George Flores Jr. brother in laws, Hiram Kanuha and Frank Bryan. Service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului. Visitation 9:00am to 11:00am; service to begin at 11:00am-12:00pm. Burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park Wailuku. The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation and aloha to Dr. Kenneth Scott, Kula Hospital 2nd floor nurses, Kula Activity Department Nurses as well as the entire hospital staff for the wonderful care they have given our loved one for the past 6 years.
