Paul Villanueva Dacanay, 68, of Kahului, Maui; passed away on January 25, 2016 in Kahului, Maui.
He was born on August 30, 1947 in Wailuku.
Paul worked for Arizuma Brothers and Hawaiian Dredging as a carpenter.
Visitation will be held on February 11, 2016 at 9:30a.m.-11:00a.m. at Christ The King.
Paul is predeceased by his wife, Eleanor Kan-Hai and his parents.
Paul is survived by his son, Paul Acosta; daughters, Naomi Osborne, Paula (Richard Pelekai) Dacanay; hanai son, Ikaika Pszyk; hanai daughter, Kai Teeter; brothers, Tony Silva, James Silva, Kenneth Dacanay and Vincent Dacanay; sisters Marylou Gorospe and Caroline Lopez; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
