Pauline Fonseca, 93 of Pahoa, passed away on June 9, 2023 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born January 12, 1930 in Austria she moved to Hawaii in 1953 and retired as manager of the former Any Place Lounge in Honolulu. She was a member of the Paradise Park Cong of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by daughter, Jamie (Bill) Russell; son, Joey (Rita) Fonseca; stepson, Glen Fonseca; sister, Theres Gilomen of Switzerland; brother, Adolph Kronlachner of Austria; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
An online memorial will be held at a later date.
