Ponciano “Poncit” Idica, 71, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on October 4, 2015 at his home under the care of his family and Hospice Maui. He was born on August 25, 1944, in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Church; service will begin at 11 am; burial will follow, 12:30 pm at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku. The family requests no flowers.
Ponciano is predeceased by his parents, Macario and Francisca Idica; and brother, Ceferino Idica. He is survived by his brother, Antonio Idica; sister-in-law, Jacinta Idica; nephews, Daniel (Susan) Idica, Ruben (Ma Bety) Idica, Alex (Gayleen) Idica; nieces, Eugenia (Mark) Idica-Sitts, Bessy (Alfredo) Evangelista, Mina (Joseph) Rivera, Gemma (Tino) Idica Calvan; 20 grandnieces/nephews and 8 great grandnieces/nephews.
