Raymond Serapio Catiel, 93, of Lanai City, passed away on January 16, 2011, at Lanai Community Hospital. He was born November 4, 1917 in Negros Occidental, Philippines. Mr. Catiel was a Pineapple Plantation supervisor. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Kaopuiki Catiel; sons, Raymond (Jo-Ane) Catiel, Timothy (Mary) Catiel, Melvin Catiel; daughters, Georgette (Patrick) Kusunoki, Annette Graham; brother, Francisco (Julia) Cateil; sister, Margarita (Mariano) Lumongo; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Services: Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Lanai Recreation Center.
