Memorial Medical Center. She was born on
October 8, 1927 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9
p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Christ
the King Church; prayer services will begin
at 7 p.m.
Visitation will resume at the church on
Saturday, January 30, 2016 beginning at 9
a.m., mass at 11 a.m. and burial will follow
at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
Rosario, who loved gardening, worked in the Irrigation
department at Hawaii Commercial & Sugar
Company as an irrigation drip hook-up operator.
She is survived by her sons, Ben “Boy”
(Lumen) Hernandez, Gualberto (Imelda)
Hernandez, Benjamin (Tessie) Hernandez,
Rodrigo Hernandez (Fun Lau), and Alfredo
“Fred” (Vangie) Hernandez; daughters,
Estelita (Evagrio) Salmo, and Cecilia
“Sally” Hernandez; brothers, Ricardo Bonilla of Paia and
Eliseo (Mila) Bonilla; sister, Timotea Bonilla, both of Philippines;
9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
Rosario was predeceased by her husband,
Policronio Hernandez; brothers,
Claudio and Luis Bonilla, and great grandson, Kobie Bivings.
