Ruby Lauae Hicks, 85, of Hilo, passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Laupahoehoe and retired from The County of Hawaii. Private services will be held. She is survived by her son Ralph Ynigues of Honolulu; daughter Roberta Kaaumoana of Hilo; brother Thomas Ynigues of Honolulu; sisters Ruth Navalta of Hilo, Mary Alfiler of Paauilo, Lucy (David) Meyer of Hilo, Beatrice (Edwin) Narte of California; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces, and nephews. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary- Hilo.
