Stanley Pacheco Sr., 75 of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully at his home in Kahului on May 13, 2016; under the care of Island Hospice and family caregivers. He was born on March 6, 1941 in Honolulu at St. Francis Hospital. He was raised in the Puunene Planation camps where he became a well admired welder for HC&S and later retired from HC&S.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.; with service to begin at 11:00 a.m., cremation to follow.
He is predeceased by his wife, Celestine Pacheco; survived by his children, Gregory Pacheco, Kevin Pacheco, Heidi (Audie) Kalehuawehe, Stanley Pacheco Jr., Tina Pacheco, Dale (Michelle) Pacheco, Kalani Pacheco, Alika Pacheco, Kuulei Pacheco; brothers, Joe (Gisela) Pacheco, Charles Pacheco, Paul (Georgia) Pacheco, Larry (Dawn) Pacheco; sisters, Lolita (Michael) Jarnesky, Lily (Daniel) Anzai; and 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
