She is survived by son Eugene Y. Uchima of Hilo; brother Masanobu (Yoshiko) Gusukuma of Kailua, Oahu, Yasu Sugiyama of Hilo; sister-in-law Yoshiko Gusukuma of Pepeekeo; grandchildren Ryan Y. (Michelle) Uchima of Hilo, Ross Y. Uchima of Hilo; numerous nieces and nephews
