Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 7:15 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; mass will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 1:00 p.m., at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
Virginia was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at Kula Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Pablo Ripani. She is survived by her sons, Pablo R. Ripani Jr. of Oahu, Stephen K. (Napua) Ripani; grandchildren, Stephen “Ka’eo” (Taryn) Ripani Jr., Shane “Kekoa” (Tiana) Ripani, Aysia A.C. Ripani of Oahu, Shantel M.M. Ripani of Oahu; great grandchildren, Nanea, Nainoa, Ekolu, Keala, Kekai; and her dog Maka’ala.
