Survived by wife Lorelle Berkey of Hilo; 2 sons Benjamin (Julia) Berkey of Waikoloa Joseph (Elizabeth) Berkey of Hilo 2 daughters Wendy (Peter) Severino of North Carolina, Wanda Webb of Florida, Brother John (Pat) Berkey of Florida 4 grandchildren, and numerous extended families.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Wailoa Park Pavilion #1 in Hilo.
