Chanel Jennifer Leigh Nelson

Chanel Jennifer Leigh Nelson passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025 at Royal Inland Hospital, with her husband Jeffrey Nelson by her side. Born on May 21, 1988 in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Lisa Otway (Wills), Chanel lived a life marked by being one of the most beautiful kind souled people ever met by her peers.

Chanel was the best friend, soul mate, and world of her husband Jeff. Chanel and Jeff have been together for 23 wonderful years and just recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Chanel was a warm hearted and supportive wife, a wonderful homemaker, the greatest mother who absolutely adored, cherished and loved her 3 beautiful children, Blake Nelson (17), Zoe Nelson (12), and Zane Nelson (8). Chanel had more energy and patience than most. By not only creating a warm loving home for her family, she also did homeschooling, spent countless hours with her children with their activities from mixed martial arts, dance (including competitive), organized many fundraisers, she had always made sure each one of her kids birthdays were special by spending countless hours making them custom cakes and decorating the house from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Chanel had a heart of gold and those who had the opportunity to meet her would agree she was always there for them in the time of need, always putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own and that's what made her the amazing person she was.

Chanel is survived by her husband Jeffrey; children, Blake, Zoe, and Zane; parents Lisa and Mike; sisters Ashley, Jessica and Jennifer and the many other relatives and close friends.
