Dan and I shared a love of one another for over 10 years. We met at Sun Peaks just outside of Kamloops.  There was an instant connection. We often said we were soul mates. We connected through the Sterling institute and the rest is history. He loved life. We had so many great adventures shared together. Will remember Dan with an everlasting love.  He will be missed by many! RIP Dan.

Dan and I were great friends and co-workers during his short time at CN Rail in the last 1990's. As a long service employee at CN, it didn't take me long to realize that Dan took his job seriously and knew his stuff. But, we always took the time to have fun. And managed to take in a few visits to the country bar in Kamloops for some two-stepping. I'll miss you. I'll miss our messenger joke swapping.  Rest, now Danoh, you deserve it !!!

So sad to hear of Dan's passing. We have fond memories of those "teenage boys" across the street! It was so nice to run into Dan at Mountain Equipment last spring and catch up on family news. I'm grateful to have been able to give him a hug when he told me of his condition last August.  Hugs to all of you.

I first met Dan at MacArthur Park Junior Secondary, in Mr. Llewellyn's grade 9 computer class.  Through that class, and mutual involvement with behind-the-scenes theatre (sound and lighting) I got to know Dan as someone who was thoughtful and methodical, skills that would serve him well in later years as an aircraft mechanic.

After high school, as commonly happens, we found our own paths, but via the internet (pre social media) we found ways to reconnect.  Dan and I shared a desire to better ourselves, and at one point found ourselves at a weekend with hundreds of other men also seeking betterment.  For Dan and I, that opened an avenue for further conversations over the years.

I cannot remember a time when I ever saw Dan with less than a smile on his face.  It seemed to me that he was always full of life, which is why his passing hurts all the more.  My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

My condolences to Dan's family and friends.  Thank you for all the great memories of  Dan as a small boy in Hope Lake (Alberta)!  A boy who's mother said that would NEVER eat fish out of the lake.  Except when it was cooked on a stick over an open fire!  YUMMY!  There was no fish left for the adults!  :)
We really appreciated Dan, for coming to Vera's funeral, it meant a lot to us.

We were so saddened to hear this news.  Our condolences to Dan's family.  Dan was so outgoing and genuinely all about family!  He will be truly missed.   We will always remember when he came to Mom's funeral (from so far away) and we sat at the kitchen table for hours and talked about everything!

Dan left an unforgettable impression on me when I met him this year in Kamloops. He pushed me to believe in myself in a single weekend and we had many great laughs with some great advice.

Dans trips to Alberta always started with “hello neighbour” and ended with “ Bye neighbour -safe travels! “
I will miss the occasional liberal meme pop ups through messenger and the reminders of how far away from the winery you live..
Worry not, as family and friends will rally around  your love ones in the same spirit you held. 
You will be missed but never forgotten!

Dearest Marcia and family...
Dan will be remembered as the man who brought life, and love to your lives. He was always challenging himself to do better, and finding ways to inspire those who loved him. 
He was a good man, and will be missed by many.
Rest easy, Dan. Your rest is well deserved.
