Deveen Ann Martin, age 89, passed away on September 21, 2023, in Kamloops, BC at Royal Inland Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1934, in Saskatoon. Deveen, a strong and passionate woman, succumbed to heart disease.
Deveen loved her community of Kamloops and was actively involved with the church. She had a kind heart and dedicated herself to helping the city's homeless in any way she could. Additionally, Deveen had a deep love for her rescue dogs, who held a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her granddaughter Amy, adopted daughters Karen and Jennifer Martin, and five grandchildren. Deveen was predeceased by her parents, Minnie and Hoarce Martin.
A celebration of life for Deveen will be announced in the new year. Details regarding the services will be shared with family, friends, and community members who wish to pay their respects and honor her memory.
