With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donna Simpson, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, on July 1, 2024, just shy of her 64th birthday. Born in Kamloops, BC, Donna was a beacon of love, strength, and perseverance.
She was the devoted wife of the late Richard John Simpson, with whom she shared a life full of love and laughter, raising two wonderful children, Kevin (34) and Shawna (31). Donna's boundless love for her children instilled in them the values of kindness, resilience, and hard work.
Donna was the cherished daughter of Mona and Norman Endean, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her four brothers, Steven Endean (Paula), James Endea (Robyn), Don Endean (Cynthia), and Greg Endean (Tahira), who, along with her children, will miss her dearly.
For over 40 years, Donna was a pillar of the Kamloops community as the owner of Headhunters Shampoo Ltd. Her warmth, mentorship, and unwavering support for those around her made her salon a gathering place that touched countless lives.
An adventurous spirit, Donna loved the outdoors and cherished camping with family and friends. Her ability to find beauty in life’s simplest moments was a gift to all who knew her.
Donna's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of love, kindness, and perseverance will continue to inspire us all. A celebration of her life will be held in the Spring of 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Royal Inland Hospital Cancer Clinic, a cause dear to her heart.
