

He is predeceased by his first wife Peggy (Palmer), his second wife Donna (Styles) and his brother Jack (Mickey) Reid.
Dick is lovingly remembered by his eldest brother Bill Reid of McMinneville, Oregon, daughters Mary Ann Mclean, Donna Reid and Helen(Wes Allan) Reid, step-daughters Diane(Peter) Zell and Mairi-Claire Pigeon, grandchildren Roberta and Owen(Angie) McLean, Reid and Ryan Johnston, Corrine and Michael Blann, Tyler and Jared Allan, Andrew(Yuri and great granddaughter Ayla), Graham(Maddy) and Allison(Shannon) Zell, Jaqueline and Rachel Pigeon, nieces and nephews Alan, Katherine, Bob, Michael, Peter, Stu and Stephanie and cousin Paddy(Wade) Felton and family.
Dick cherished time with his family and loved to have family gatherings at his home. Ever the host Dick entertained family and friends on a regular basis. Over the years, fishing and boating at Little Shuswap fostered many memories and friendships. For close to 66 years Dick and his long-time friend Bob Dalgleish never missed an opening day of duck hunting season.
Dick relished his coffee dates and social outings with his many friends. To Linda and Alison thank you for being such good neighbours. He appreciated all you did for him. Thanks also to Dr. Hamilton and the wonderful caring support workers who came every day and made him smile.
A celebration of life will be held on April 29th, at 11:00 am at Schoening Funeral Service, 513 Seymour Street, Kamloops, B.C.
