Albert (aka Uncle Johnny or Ulu) was born on August 25, 1938. He graduated from McKinley High School and continued his education learning a trade. He utilized his skills and talent at Hawaiian Electric for 38 years. It was his love for his family which made him the greatest person we know and love. He had many loves in his life. His first being his wife, Pearl, whom he had been married to for 52 years and made her extremely happy every moment they spent together. Whenever we asked him what he wanted he would always say whatever made mommy happy. His other love was his four children: Christine, Allen, Carolyn, and Alden. He is and will always be the BEST father to us. It has been the greatest honor being his children. His love extended to all those who were fortunate to have known him and been blessed by his generous heart and kind soul.
He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes about the type of person he was. During his free time, he enjoyed being in his yard or building something for his loved ones. He was truly a jack of all trade and would always help anyone who asked. We always admired his creativity and his ability to always fix something that many people would just discard. He loved playing crossword puzzles and playing slot machine games on his iPad. He has been our protector, our provider, our teacher, our confidant, our Daddy. We will always and forever keep him in our heart. He left this world far too early, and he will be greatly missed, and never forgotten. Who he was is what we will aspire to be and to honor his memory. He is now with our Lord and all our family members in Heaven looking over all of us. No pain and suffering anymore. Love you Forever and Always your SB and your four children! Casual attire for service.
