Lucia Phyllis Dela Pena

Lucia “Phyllis” Dela Pena 57 ½ of Makakilo, Hawaii, passed away on April 04, 2025. She was born on September 30, 1967, to Lucia Cabiles and Phillip Cabiles Jr (deceased). At 57 ½ yrs old, Phyllis touched many people’s hearts and lives in her lifetime. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, niece, sister, and friend. She dedicated her entire life to her family. She was the humblest, honest, caring, giving, selfless, and courageous person. She always placed everyone first before herself. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her. She worked at Kenny’s restaurant in Kalihi for over 15 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Dwayne Dela Pena, her mother Lucia Cabiles, and her children Stephanie Dela Pena, Natasha Dela Pena, Dwayne “po’okela” Dela Pena (deceased), Cheyenne Dela Pena, and Chaz Dela Pena. Her celebration of life will be held at the Hawaiian Memorial Mortuary in Kaneohe on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Visitation and viewing will start at 8:30 am, and the service will be at 9:30 am. Please join us for lunch at noon, and we will lay her to rest immediately to follow at 1 pm at the terrace view gravesite directly across the chapel.
