Naomi-Grace “Omi” Kam Sung Chow, age 64 from Aiea, HI, passed away peacefully July 4, 2021 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. In her own way, focused and determined to fight to the end, Omi declared it was time for her very own “Independence Day”, and transitioned to eternal peace, joy and love, free from discomfort, pain and other physical limitations. Omi was born on October 1, 1956 in Honolulu, HI to Samuel and Laura Tam. She graduated from Aiea High School, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii and was formerly a licensed Commercial Realtor. At various times she was also a freelance photographer, product buyer, and occasionally delved in network marketing. She loved God, her family, photography, travel, Snoopy (Peanuts), cooking competitions and the Hallmark Channel, Scrabble and crossword puzzles, and was a staunch supporter of the Boy Scouts of America youth programs. She will be remembered as friendly, cheerful, loving and energetic with “perfectionist” tendencies. She is survived by husband Eric, son Ethan, brothers Malcolm Tam, Gilbert (Dianne) Tam, sisters Faith “Kam Hau” (Gabriel) Shiroma and Geraldine (Phil) Yasuhara, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 11 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI. Viewing at 10 am, service at 11 am, burial at 1 pm. Aloha attire. Omi was loved by all she came in contact with, and will always be in our hearts.
