Nora Namiko (Nakayama) Yasunaga, age 75, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the Manoa Cottages in Kaimuki. Nora was born April 30, 1947 in Kealakekua, Hawaii. She is survived by her son, Stephen Yasunaga, daughter Ellen Heu, grandson Tavin Koki-Yasunaga, brothers Larry Nakayama (Bette), Leslie Nakayama (Michele), Michael Nakayama (Terese), sisters Thelma Asato (Kenneth), Jean Chiang, Ellen Yamamura, Harriet Barz, Frances Park, as well as many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at the Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery chapel in Kaneohe on September 22, 2022. Visitation will be from 4:30-5:30, with the service to follow. Burial will be at the HAWAII STATE VETERANS’ CEMETERY at 10:00 am the following day.
