Samuel John Ambrose

He was born on June 9, 1944 in Pa’ia Maui to Sylvia Pacheco Ambrose and Samuel Ambrose (both deceased).

Sam retired as an Aircraft Refueler at Hickam Air Force Base after 26 years of dedicated civilian service. Sam was also a US Army veteran and a very hard working husband and father.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars including his classics of old, cooking and music.

He is survived by his loving wife Sybil Ambrose, their 6 children, Monica Coburn, Patricia Felton, Lori Peahi, Sammi Kiaha, Faith Benoit and Samuel J Ambrose, Jr.

Sam also leaves more blessings in his 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also blessed with two beautiful sisters, Patricia (Patsy) Hockett of California and the late Pauline Lovitt of Montana

His legacy of love lives in each, so this is not goodbye but “….see you in the morning….”

John 14:1-3 says, “Let not your heart be troubled, you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also.”
