Allen Unrein

Allen Dean Unrein, 51, of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away August 7, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 12th at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Casimir Parish, 521 Linn Street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048.

Allen was born April 18, 1962 in Great Bend, Kansas to Edwin and Armella Unrein. He grew up in Western Kansas and graduated from Hays High School, where he enjoyed managing the Hays High football team. Allen was a member of St. Casimir Parish in Leavenworth, Kansas. He loved electronics and would spend many hours listening to his police scanner. Allen was an avid walker, a true patriot and loved spending time with his friends and family.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Armella Unrein; his brother Albert and his sister, Arlene Rose.

He is survived by his siblings, Richard Unrein and Cindy Reinhardt, Virgil Unrein, Nicholas (Kristy) Unrein, Raymond (Patty) Unrein and Darlene Unrein as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
