Beverley Beashore

Beverley Beashore, 82, passed away August 3, 2016. A visitation will be Monday, August 8th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. The funeral will be Tuesday, August 9th at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Beverley was born August 26, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas to Rex and Lillie (Strickland) Powell. She spent the majority of her life in the Kansas City, Kansas area and was a member of Maywood Community Church. Beverley worked for the USD 500, serving in the kitchen for 15 years. She enjoyed dancing but most of all loved spending time with her family.

Beverley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; and brother, Bob Powell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons; Mike and wife Donna, Mark and wife Lee, Ed and wife Kathleen and Larry and wife Lisa; daughters, Lea and husband Linnel Werremeyer and Dona and husband Dennis O’Neal; sister, Karla Westerfield; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to all the physicians, nurses, and support staff at Garden Terrace of Overland Park who were so special to her.
