I am grateful that Cathleen Rose was a part of my life.  While working together we discovered mutual interests in reading and music.  I fondly recall going to her Sweet Adelaines performances, as well as going to a concert on the lawn at the Atlanta Botanical Garden with her.  She was a good friend and loyal correspondent as we shared long distance after she moved from Atlanta.  May she be resting in peace. Love, Dorothy Biebrich Jackson

I will miss you greatly for the rest of my life.  You gave been the backbone of our family since we moved to atl.  Your love is in my heart.

I will miss corresponding with Cathleen since she moved away.  What a sweet lady and a good friend. She helped me on numerous occasions when I was Treasurer. I had the privilege of singing with her for 25 yrs. Prayers for Cathleen and condolences to her family and many other friends. May she rest in peace.

Cathleen was a dear friend and one of the smartest women I ever knew!  I was sad when she moved away from Atlanta but lost touch with her over the years.  That was my loss!  Kimberly, I always remember you on August 12th because that's my birthday, too.  Cathleen thought that was neat!  My sympathy and love goes out to your family.

She was my kindred friend since joining Song of Atlanta Chorus, Sweet Adelines, in 1976..  We traveled together, had game nights (she was a genius at Trivial Pursuit), and laughed and cried together.  She was indeed a "rose".  Through tears from both of us, I put her on an airplane in 2003 to head home to be with her family in Kansas City.  I pray for God's hand of comfort and peace to touch her family. I mostly called Cathy  great grandma instead of by name. She was wonderful to me as kimberly's father in law. At Christmas time she would give me one of her books she thought I might enjoy reading.I loved those books. She did not have a lot of money but she never forgot me. She did not have a lot of money but what she did have was a tremendous heart, compassion, caring and love for all around her. My life is richer for having known her. Great grandma contributed much to Kimberly's life. To who she is as a person. In my daughter in law I see the goodness of her grandmother.

Cathleen is a beautiful soul and will be missed dearly by all who knew her and loved her. It was 25 years ago when I came into her life and became her Granddaughter's best friend. She has always made me feel like I was a part of her family and would do anything to help me and my son Bradley. Her love was unconditional and she always had a knack for making you laugh. To her family I say... hold your memories close at heart, continue to tell her you love her and know that she will always be with you in spirit. To those family members who did not get a chance to know her, know that she loved you dearly and with every ounce of her being. To her friends, feel rich for knowing her and being a part of her great, long life. I know in my heart that she is free of pain, at peace and now with her children that never should have gone before her. Lots of love to her family and friends during this difficult time.
