Also her “Baby Girl” Kristen Farrell, 7 other nieces, as well as Kevin Farrell II and 5 other nephews. Cheryl is deeply loved and will be equally missed by us all!
Cheryl was larger than life itself. As a young girl she was part of the Kansas Girl’s Choir. Her love for music continued her whole life. She was blessed with a beautiful voice and sang at many events over the years. Cheryl was an avid gardener and always kept her many flower gardens looking beautiful season to season.
Cheryl worked as the office manager for Reintjes and Hiter company in Kansas City Kansas. She was employed for 30 years before retiring in 2012.
One of Cheryl’s greatest passions was time at the Lakeview Fishing and Shooting Association in Lawrence Kansas founded in 1892. She was the first woman President of the Club and served on many executive boards over the years. She enjoyed fishing and all the social events that the club sponsored. Cheryl loved nature, birds and the outdoors. There was always a party to be found at someone’s cabin on a Friday or Saturday night, and you could usually find Cheryl there surrounded by her friends of Lakeview. Cheryl just enjoyed life!
A visitation will be held Monday January 25th 5pm to 7pm at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 North 94th Street Kansas City Kansas. At 7pm we have a celebration of Cheryl’s life with a few stories from her friends.
