Dolores Howell

Dolores May Howell passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Jordan Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on December 8, 1920, the daughter of Jerry L. and Edith A (Crawford) White in Wyandotte County, Kansas City, Kansas. Survivors include daughters, Linda Carr of Springfield, Missouri, Carol January-Schwartz of Lenexa, Kansas, Deborah Miller of O’Fallon, Missouri; brother, Donald White of Overland Park, Kansas, 4 grandchildren, Laura January, Russ Hoock, Liz Hoock, and Dennis Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, John Carr, and Virgil “Bill” Howell; son, John Carr; 2 brothers, Leroy White and William White; and grandson, Mark January. Funeral services will be held at the Forsyth Whelchel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, July 17 at 3:00 PM., visitation will be from 2:00 till service time. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens located at 701 North 94th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday, July 18 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Southwest Missouri Chapter, Glen Isle Center, 1500 South Glenstone, Springfield, MO 65804.
