Elsie Mae Bailey

Born in Wyandotte county, KS too Edward and Elsie F. Baier. Elsie was married to Charlie W. Bailey until his passing. She is survived by her 6 children, John (Diane deceased), Frank (Sheila), Charlie, Janet, Roy, and Kathleen. 9 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great - Great Grandchildren, along with William Meeder's children, and Grandchildren.

Elsie and Charlie raised their 6 children in Turner, KS. She was a stay home mom until she got her last one in school. She went on to work at the Turner School District offices and later on to be an assistant Libiran at Turner High School, until her retirement.

Raising her 6 children was her greatest joy, and all that came with it. Actively participating in sports, scouts, school functions, church, camping, and her passion for sewing.

In later years she met William Meeder (deceased) they lived in Edelweiss subdivision. Enjoying traveling, dancing, going out to dinner, and lake life at the Ozarks. Elsie loved gardening and sitting on her deck watching the birds and deer. She was an avid fan of the Royals, Chiefs and KU basketball. You could almost always find her watching one of her sports teams.
