Gilbert George Blume, age 88, of De Soto, KS passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 1st, 2024.
Gilbert was born on January 30th, 1936 in Charter Oak, IA.
He was retired from Kenworth Truck Company and the railroad.
He was married to Marjorie Ann Blume. He was preceded in death by Marjorie Blume and brother Jerry Blume.
Gilbert is survived by his sister Judy Blume, brother Rick Blume and wife Judy, his son Kristopher Blume and wife Valerie, three grandchildren Jacob, Kurtis, and Jessica, and five great grandchildren Betty Jo, Jemma, Jackson, Mila and Brayden.
