Gretchen A. Bartkoski

Gretchen A. Bartkoski, 81, passed away November 30, 2014. A visitation will be held December 5th from 10:00-11:00 AM with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Gretchen was born in De Ridder, Louisiana to Adolf and Pearl Bunge. She married Clayton E. Bartkoski and spent 31 years with him before his passing. They lived in Kansas City, Kansas and were members of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Following his passing, she moved to Overland Park where she was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Gretchen worked for the IRS for 32 years before retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed making candy for family and friends and her specialty was Divinity.

She is preceded in death by her husband and 6 siblings. Gretchen is survived by her daughter, Sheila Ott; son, Mike (Susan) Bartkoski; grandchildren, Mandy Ott, Clay Bartkoski, Weston Bartkoski and Alexandra Bartkoski; and great granddaughter, Adonna Lou Duckworth.
