Helen Jean Green, age 92, of Chanute, Kansas passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. Helen was born on February 15th 1932, in Oskaloosa, MO to L.A. ("Preach") Cambers and Lena Spurling Cambers. Helen was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth J. Cambers and Gary L. Cambers. One daughter Jeannie Rhodes. She was employed at Economic Opportunity Foundation for 40 years where she retired as a manager.
She is survived by a daughter Joyce Logan (Leon), Son Tom Swafford (Lynda), brother, Bill Cambers (Phylis), 7 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 6 great-grandsons, 3 great granddaughters and 1 great great grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
