

Helen Laverne Suddreth, 60, formerly of Grand Junction, CO., passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 14, 2011. Helen was born on July 14, 1950 in San Jose, CA., to James Ray and Barbara (Brunson) King. She graduated from Grand Junction High School, and completed an Associates Degree in Nursing. Later she went back to school and continued her education and earned a B.S. in Organizational Management. Helen was a remarkable Lady, devoted wife, loving mother, and loving grandmother. She loved singing, and enjoyed blue grass music. Helen was very proud to say that she was a Breast Cancer Survivor. She is preceded in death by her father: James Ray King. Survivors include, her mother: Barbara King and loving husband of 20 years: Richard D. Suddreth. She will be sadly missed by her children, Michael Guernsey and his fiancé Shauna of Quinlen, TX., Crissey Stephenson (Clint) of Forney, TX., Becky Oberle (Dave) of Holyoke, CO., Rachel Moore (Cody) of Fruita, CO., Vallie Doyle (Brian) of Fruita, CO., David Suddreth (Christy) of Hanover, PA., Timothy Suddreth and Steve Suddreth (Laurie) both of Cypress, TX. Left behind to cherish her memory are her 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Helen is also survived by two sisters: Katherine Ivey (Bishop) of Flower Mound, TX., Suzanne Embre of Denver, CO. and one brother: Jim King (Ellen) of Quinlen, TX. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Cremation to follow. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in the name of, Helen Laverne Suddreth to: The Susan G.
