Janet Kay Depetre

Janet Kay Depetre, 72, of Tonganoxie, passed away Oct. 10, 2018 at home surrounded by family. She was born Oct. 21, 1945 in Kansas City, KS to William Leroy and Dorothy (Carr) Stevenson. She graduated from Turner High School. Janet was joined in marriage to Ersilio Depetre at St. Patrick Catholic Church in August, 1969. She managed numerous family businesses over the years and volunteered at Good Shepherd Thrift. Janet was a member of the First Baptist Church of Linwood. She loved to travel and her greatest joy was being a loving mother to her four sons

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy (Carr) Stevenson.

Janet is survived by her husband, Ersilio; her sons, Timothy, Mark (Carrie), Jonathan (Brittany), and Matthew (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Tyler, Sophie, Jaden, Corbin, Chloe, Haiden, and Ava; and her sisters, Joan Kite and Sylvia Ghale.

Memorial services will be 11:00am, Fri., Oct. 19th at Chapel Hill – Butler, 701 N. 94th St., KCK 66112. Inurnment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Thrift in Tonganoxie.
