Jean R. Quick, 82, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at her home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15th at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas with Interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests that any contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice. Jean was born May 20, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri to LeRoy E. and Kathryn N. Howe. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. J. Quick, and a granddaughter, Alesha Stauch. Survivors include 5 daughters, Kathie Stauch of Basehor, Kansas, Patty Duncan & husband Mike of Olathe, Kansas, Janet Underwood of Lenexa, Kansas, Donna Brown & husband Eric of Lenexa, Kansas, and Teresa Jurkovich & husband Dennis of Desoto, Kansas; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
