

John was a man of talents. His career began working in the office at Capitol Truck Line then advanced his career on to driving for Capitol Truck Line, Topeka Motor Freight, CKC, Manley, Graham, and Consolidated Freight. Although driving all over the road were some of his happiest times, after 33 years of driving, John retired from the Teamsters Local 41.John then moved on to one of his favorite things, buying and selling. He had a business that he started from home named "J&H Auto", Where he sold cars, tires, and even had a Missouri inspection station. He finally settled into retirement when he closed the business in December of 2020.
John was a man of many hobbies and Interests. He really enjoyed meeting and talking to the many friends he made which showed in his memberships to the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Ararat Shrine, and as a Mason of Alpha No 659. John also loved sports, especially his beloved KU, But he was very active at Lakeside Speedway, I-70, and Sedalia racing and riding dirt bikes. Another passion of his was exploring the mountainside. He was not afraid to try anything and his sense of humor was, well you just had to know him.
John is proceeded in death by parents Guy and Ida Boldt.
John leaves his wife of 47 years Lois Adair Saul and is also survived by son, John Jr (Jackie) of Edgerton, Mo. Granddaughters Kristen Saul and Lorena Frank (Brycen), and extended family members
He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
